What is body education?

Body education may help those who have repetitive stress injuries, because you “relearn” how to sit correctly and move your body during daily activities. There are some excellent types of bodywork that can help you relearn good posture and get your body in balance, so you take pressure off painful joints and muscles. There are many types of bodywork, but a few types that may be helpful for relief of chronic pain include Rolfing, Aston-Patterning, the Trager Approach, the Felderkrais Method, and the Alexander Technique.
