Intuniv tablets should not be taken at the same time that your child eats food that is high in fat, although they can be taken with milk. Also, your child should not drink alcohol while taking Intuniv.
- antidepressants called monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) like phenelzine and selegiline
- medications that treat high blood pressure
- medications that affect enzyme metabolism, like ketoconazole and rifampin
- the anti-seizure medication valproic acid
- sedatives, including barbiturates and benzodiazepines
- antipsychotics
