How does Lamictal interact with other medications?

Lamictal may interact with primodone, phenytoin, valproic acid, rifampin, phenobarbital, oxcarbazepine, carbazepine, penytoin, trimethoprim and divalproex. It may also interact with any hormonal form of birth control, including pills, skin patches and injections. Alcohol taken with Lamictal increases the amount of drowsiness and possibly dizziness. In this case, caution should be taken when driving.
