What is Multitrace 5 Concentrate (trace elements combination)?

Multitrace 5 Concentrate contains five important elements that you need in your diet: zinc, selenium, copper, manganese and chromium. It is part of Total Parenteral Nutrition, a way of supplying all the nutritional needs of the body by bypassing the digestive system and administering nutrient solution directly into a vein, especially when you are unable to eat, such as when you are in a coma. Multitrace 5 Concentrate is only available by prescription, as it is administered using an IV. There is no specific generic version of this additive.
