How common is postdrome phase?

The postdrome phase is a very common phase of a migraine headache. Migraine headaches are likewise very common also. Migraine headaches tend to start some time after puberty and taper off with age. The 2008 National Health Interview Survey found that women were more likely to suffer from migraine headaches and the postdrome phase than men. The study also found that migraine headaches were most prevalent in adults ages 18-44. However, 50% of the individuals with migraines had their first migraine at age 15.
