Does insurance cover circumcisions?

Insurance carriers vary significantly on coverage for circumcision. Most carriers will cover inpatient hospital costs, including circumcision. However, when newborns are released from the hospital before getting circumcised, the insurance provider may not cover the procedure. In this case, most circumcisions cost around $200 to $300.
