Can soft tissue melanoma be prevented?

Unfortunately, there aren't any proven ways to prevent soft tissue melanoma. Because so little is known about its causes, researchers haven't found ways to prevent this cancer (which is also known as clear cell sarcoma). The best way to prevent soft tissue melanoma from progressing and spreading throughout the body is by treating it while it's still in the early stages, so talk to a doctor right away if you notice any symptoms.
