Who should not take CHANTIX?

You should not take Chantix if you are under 18 years of age. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, you should try to quit smoking without the use of prescription drugs such as Chantix, which may possibly harm your child or be passed in the breast milk. If you are taking any other drugs or products to help you quit smoking, you should not take Chantix. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in Chantix, you should not take it. The active ingredient is varenicline tartrate.
