What are the side effects of disulfiram?

Disulfiram may cause side effects, including: impotence, tiredness, skin rash, mild headache, drowsiness, acne, swollen tongue, and a metallic or garlic-like taste in the mouth. Symptoms that require immediate medical advice include weakness, excessive tiredness, seizures, dark urine, upset stomach, lack of energy, yellowing of eyes or skin, and vomiting. This drug may also cause an allergic reaction. Signs of an allergic reaction include swelling or lips, face, or tongue; shortness of breath; hives; and closing of the throat. If any of these symptoms develop, seek medical attention immediately.
