Who is eligible for Medigap insurance coverage?

You are eligible for Medigap insurance coverage if you have Medicare Parts A and B.

Once you turn 65 and enroll in Medicare Part B, you can buy a Medigap policy. If you join during the first six months after you turn 65 and enroll in Medicare Part B, an insurance company cannot use your medical history as a factor to set premiums.
