Can I eat before a cross-sectional interventional service (CIS)?

Do not eat or drink after midnight on the night prior to your cross-sectional interventional service (CIS) if your procedure is at 11 a.m. or earlier other than a small cup of water with your morning medications. You may have a light breakfast at 7 a.m. if your procedure is at 1:00 p.m. or later.
