What causes male genital problems?

There a variety of things that can cause genital problems in men. Injuries - often during sports or other recreational activities - are a fairly common cause of male genital problems since the scrotum and penis are very exposed. Testicular cancer may also lead to male genital problems. Infections can cause genital problems in a variety of areas in men. Male genital problems may also be caused by sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including gonorrhea and syphilis. Certain problems, such as erectile dysfunction and problems with the foreskin or scrotum, may be caused by a variety of issues in the genitals themselves, including fluid buildup and blocked blood flow.
