There are many potential side effects with Cialis, but one of the most important one is an erection lasting more than four hours.  The risk is that prolonged erection can deprive the tissue of oxygen, causing tissue damage. Another serious side effect is in men who have a history of heart disease or who take nitrates, Cialis can cause an increase in heart rate, blood pressure and even chest tightness.
