If you are taking any of the following medications, tadalafil can lead to side effects and should be avoided:

  • an alpha-1 adrenergic blocking agent
  • alprostadil
  • boceprevir
  • conivaptan
  • a strong CYP3A4 inducer
  • fusidic acid
  • idelalisib
  • a nitrate
  • a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor
  • riociguat
  • tipranavir
