What is the maximum daily dose of magnesium oxide?

Do not take more than two magnesium oxide tablets in 24 hours. Also, do not take this medicine as self treatment for more than two weeks without consulting your doctor.

Symptoms of magnesium oxide overdose include: dizziness, confusion, loss of consciousness, flushing, severe drowsiness, muscle weakness and a slow heart rate.

Seek emergency medical help if you suspect overdose.
