What should I drink if I have cancer-related nausea?

If you have nausea:
  • Avoid beverages with caffeine or alcohol.
  • Clear, cool beverages are often best tolerated.
  • Try ginger ale, ginger-flavored beverages, ginger tea, or chamomile tea.
  • Other suggestions to try are tea, clear soups, flavored gelatin, carbonated beverages, Popsicles, ice cubes, or nutrition supplements.
  • If you have been vomiting, try drinking small amounts of clear liquids every 15 minutes.
