  • Block the awareness of pain
  • Change sensations from unpleasant to comfortable
  • Increase relaxation
  • Reduce stress

How it's used: A hypnotherapist who is licensed in the healing arts can perform hypnosis. You also can be taught to place yourself under a hypnotic state.
