How is lipotherme different than liposuction?

Lipotherme is similar to liposuction in that they both eliminate fat under the skin surface. Lipotherme is considered to be less invasive and has a shorter recovery time. It has been shown to tighten skin more efficiently and can treat some areas that liposuction cannot (under the chin, the ankles, above the knees, and the bra line). Sometimes doctors combine lipotherme and liposuction to achieve the best results.

Lipotherme applies heat and is a laser assisted liposuction. It has been found to both remove unwanted fat cells but also tighten the skin. Major advantages of lipotherme include: faster procedure time, less invasive, reduced healing time, and less discomfort.
