Will a special diet help children with learning disabilities?

Some parents have reported that placing their child on a special diet helps improve the child's learning disability symptoms. Some of these diets require that you eliminate food additives or preservatives, or supplement the diet with vitamins or other supplements. However, studies have not found evidence to support this type of treatment.
