Do HalfLytely and Bisacodyl Tablets interact with other drugs?

Although the drugs in the HalfLytely and Bisacodyl tablets Bowel Prep Kit have not been reported to interact with other medications, patients should tell the doctor about any medications or supplements being taken before the HalfLytely and bisacodyl tablets are started. Medications taken within an hour of starting the bowel prep can be washed out of the gastrointestinal tract before being properly absorbed. Milk products and acid reducers like antacids, famotidine, omeprazole and others should be avoided because they may cause the bisacodyl to dissolve too soon. Other laxatives should not be combined with the HalfLytely Kit.
