Kyphosis (Hunchback)

Kyphosis is a condition caused by bone disorders that result in a person having an abnormally rounded spine. The most common symptom is mild, continual back pain. Kyphosis may run in families and can also be caused by tumor, osteoporosis, infection and other problems affecting the spine. It can be treated by avoiding heavy objects and stress on the back. Some cases require a back brace or surgery.
