What are the side effects of natalizumab?

Some people taking natalizumab have developed PML, a viral brain infection. This is rare, but it can lead to death or permanent disability. Other side effects of the drug may include headaches, fatigue, dizziness, chills, depression, itching, rashes, arm or leg pain, joint pain, poor liver function, digestive tract problems, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and a higher risk of infections. Women may have inflammation of the vagina.
