How effective is tocilizumab?

Tocilizumab is similar to other biologics in its effectiveness against RA. Joint x-rays of people treated with tocilizumab showed that it slowed the damaging effects of the disease. Several studies showed improvements in symptoms and function with tocilizumab treatment.
