Can granulomatosis with polyangiitis have any complications?

Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), formerly known as Wegener's granulomatosis, can have serious complications. In untreated cases, 90 percent of people with GPA will suffer from kidney failure. Other complications include hearing loss and heart attacks. GPA can also cause permanent damage to the respiratory system and other internal organs.
