Can behavior be changed in one hypnotherapy session?

Usually multiple hypnotherapy sessions are required to see any meaningful behavioral or physical change. For adults, results can be see within four to ten sessions. Children ages nine to 12 are more susceptible to suggestions while hypnotized, so they will often respond after only one or two sessions. It largely depends on your personal situation and the problem you want addressed. The hypnotherapist may also provide instruction on self-hypnosis to reinforce what has been learned.
