Does mipomersen have any side effects?

Side effects may include a skin reaction at the injection site, fatigue, insomnia, flu-like symptoms, headache, pain or swelling in the extremities, high blood pressure, angina, palpitations, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Mipomersen can raise liver enzyme levels and cause fatty liver, increasing the risk for liver disease.
