If you are taking a moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitor, you should not take lomitapide.

If you are taking any of the following medications, lomitapide can lead to side effects and should be avoided:

  • bosutinib
  • ciprofloxacin
  • conivaptan
  • dabrafenib
  • doxorubicin
  • enzalutamide
  • fusidic acid
  • idelalisib
  • mipomersen
  • pazopanib
  • pimozide
  • silodosin
  • simeprevir
  • tipranavir
  • topotecan
  • ulipristal
  • vincristine
