Children with conductive hearing impairment will usually experience the same symptoms as adults with the same condition. In general, children are more prone to conductive hearing impairment, because ear infections are more common among children than adults. Typically, children's cases of conductive hearing impairment are easier to treat, although children suffering from the condition for a prolonged period of time may have more trouble than adults with coping and learning to communicate normally with their peers.
