What's a recipe for banana salsa?

Bananas aren’t just for snacking! In this creative recipe they make for a tangy, spicy tropical salsa that's perfect served over fish or chicken.

Banana Salsa

Makes: 4 servings
Prep Time: 15 min.

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp. sweet chili sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 small red chili, chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp. minced red onion
  • 1/4 DOLE Papaya, peeled and seeds removed
  • 1 large DOLE Banana, peeled
Directions

1. Stir together the sweet chili sauce, lime juice, chili, cilantro and onion.

2. Dice papaya into small pieces and cut bananas into 1/4-inch cubes. Mix with the other ingredients.

3. Serve salsa spooned over the top of chicken or fish.
