Are low-fat or low-carb foods healthier than regular foods?

Manuel Villacorta
Nutrition & Dietetics

So a low-fat food may be high in sugar or salt, while a low-carb option is probably high in fat. Food companies want their foods to taste good so that you want to buy them, not because they're truly good for you. It's best to eat whole foods that taste good since they're often naturally nutritionally balanced.
