What kind of snacks should I eat if I exercise?

The body uses carbohydrates, protein, and a smaller amount of fat to power through a work out. Snacking after a workout helps replace what the body has used up. For healthy weight loss, snacks may not be needed as they might be a source of extra calories. Natural food sources can be just as effective as and more affordable than protein supplements like bars or shakes. Foods to replace the body’s carbohydrate and protein stores can be low-fat yogurt with berries or veggies with protein like nuts or lean meat.
