Eating pizza could affect your vertical jumping ability. It probably wouldn’t have much effect on your first jump, but it could reduce how high you can jump on subsequent ones by as much as 5%. Thank the saturated fat in that pie. It inhibits your blood vessels from restocking your muscles with energy after you start using the nutrients -- that's why only second and subsequent jumps are effected. The effects can last for about four hours.
