What makes a casket green?

There are several things that makes a casket green, or environmentally friendly. For example, green caskets are made by companies that have been Fair Trade-certified. This ensures that the people making the caskets are employed in safe environments and receive a fair wage for their work. Furthermore, because green caskets do not have chemical-based paints or finishes on them, there are no toxic byproducts released into the environment where the caskets are produced.
