What should I watch for if my baby hits his head?

If your baby hits its head, you should look for signs of decreased alertness, poor feeding, irritability, inconsolability, vomiting or other abnormal behavior signs. Babies hit their head often, and the majority are just fine. Rarely, problems can develop such as the signs above. If you are concerned, your baby should be examined by a physician.
