How do concussions affect the body?

Even though a concussion is a mild type of brain injury, it can still cause some major effects on the body. A person with a concussion may feel hazy and dazed for weeks, and sometimes even months, after the initial injury. A concussion can also cause headaches, nausea, and dizziness. Additionally, people who have suffered one concussion may be more likely to suffer a concussion in the future.
