When will I first notice symptoms of a hair disorder?

Each form of a hair disorder will have different times when symptoms first appear. Hereditary baldness will depend on how and when the baldness affected past family members. Loss of hair from chemotherapy or radiation will show symptoms shortly after treatment has started. Acquired hypertrichosis symptoms will show up relatively around the time the underlying cause, for instance, certain medications, was introduced.
