What are the treatment options for pili torti?

Unfortunately, there is no treatment or cure for pili torti. Some children with the condition will improve over time, usually during puberty. To help manage the condition, hair should be treated gently. Sleeping on a pillow with a satin pillowcase puts less stress on the hair. Wearing a hat or wig will protect the scalp, especially from sun or cold.
