It is important to see an obstetrician/gynecologist (OBGYN) when you are in your 30s. Your OBGYN will focus on issues he or she has discussed with you in prior years, including having children and managing the accompanying physical changes. Contraception and reproductive management are still a priority, as well as managing routine screenings. Pelvic and menstrual problems can surface during this decade, and your OBGYN will develop a care plan for those if necessary.
