Do extracranial germ cell tumors affect children differently than adults?

Girls are much more likely to develop a germ cell tumor than adult women. In both boys and men, over 90% of testicular cancer is germ cell cancer. An adult man (over 20) is more likely to contract testicular cancer than a child.
