Do extragonadal germ cell tumors affect children differently than adults?

Adults (over 20) are more likely to develop an extragonadal germ cell tumor than children. When children do have extragonadal germ cell tumors, the tumors tend to affect them in the same way as adults. Treatment options for children and adults are the same in most cases.
