Who should not take fesoterodine?

You should not take fesoterodine if you're allergic to this medicine or any of its ingredients. Tell your pharmacist about any drug allergies you have. You may not be a good candidate for treatment with fesoterodine if you have certain medical conditions, including the following:
  • urinary retention (difficulty passing urine)
  • gastric retention (difficulty passing food contents from the stomach to the intestines)
  • uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma
