Who should not take Enablex?

Enablex can make some medical conditions worse. You should not take Enablex if you are unable to fully empty your bladder, suffer from gastric retention, have narrow-angle glaucoma, or have severe liver problems. Do not take Enablex if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Some drugs may interact with Enablex, and you should not take Enablex if you are also on these medications. No adequate studies on use in children have been done which is why Enablex is not recommended for use in children. No adequate studies have been done to determine whether Enablex causes birth defects in newborns or passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant before taking Enablex.
