PhosLo may affect the absorption and effectiveness of certain medications, such as: bisphosphonates, phenytoin, quinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, strontium, and certain thyroid drugs. In addition, calcium supplements, antacids with calcium, iron, certain diuretics, and calcium channel blockers may interact with PhosLo. If you take digitalis (also known as digoxin), you may develop an irregular heart rate. You should talk to your doctor or pharmacist about any of these possible interactions to determine the right course of action for you.
