How does Ditropan XL interact with other medications or food?

Ditropan XL may intensify the affects of alcohol and also cause sleepiness in people who are taking antihistamines, tranquilizers, sedatives, sleep medications, narcotics or strong prescription pain medicines, barbiturates, muscle relaxants, or anesthetics.  Other drugs that may interact with Ditropan XL include other bladder control medicines such as Detrol, glycopyrrolate, mepenzolate, thioridazine, glycopyrrolate, HIV/AIDS medications, antibiotics, bronchodilators such as Spiriva, antifungal medications such as Sporanox, atropine, benztropine, dimenhydrinate, methscopolamine, scopolamine, and irritable bowel medicines such as Bentyl, and antidepressants.  Ask your doctor before you take Ditropan XL with any other drugs. Take your medicine with a full glass of water, with or without food.
