Do children with CF have to eat more food than children without CF?

Children with cystic fibrosis (CF) have to eat more food than their friends without CF to make sure they get enough energy. Having CF affects the way the body digests food. People who have CF need to eat one and a half times as many calories a day as those who don't have CF.
