What are the symptoms of appendix cancer?

Some people with appendix cancer have no symptoms. There are, however, several common signs. People with appendix cancer usually first develop appendicitis, which is an uncomfortable swelling of the appendix that results in its removal. Some types of appendix cancer are associated with the production of a fluid in the abdominal region that is like jelly. Other people with appendix cancer feel bloated or grow size in their waistline. Pain in the stomach region and abnormal bowel movements are also common.
