The five year survival rate of gallbladder cancer is dependent on the stage at diagnosis. Stage I cancer has a five year survival rate of between 70 and 85 percent. The five year survival rate drops to 25 percent in stage II cancer, and 12 percent in stage III cancer. The five year survival rate for those with stage IV cancer ranges from 1 to 2 percent.
