What is Neo-Synephrine?

Neo-Synephrine (phenylephrine) is a nasal decongestant. It works by constricting blood vessels in the nose, which reduces swelling and congestion. The medication comes in a variety of forms, including a nasal spray, chewable tablets, disintegrating tablets, disintegrating strips and liquid. The medication is available by prescription and over-the-counter.
