What if I forget a dose of adropine?

If you are taking atropine for eye pain and miss a dose, try to apply the eye drops or ointment as soon as you remember. Do not apply a double dose of atropine to make up for the missed dose. If it is almost time to apply a regularly scheduled dose, just wait until that time and apply the medicine on schedule.

Try to make up the missed dose on even intervals. For example, if you are supposed to apply atropine three times a day and you missed the morning dose, then try to space out the three doses for that day on an even schedule.
