What happens if I miss a dose of Relistor (methylnaltrexone)?

If you miss a dose of Relistor (methylnaltrexone), take the missed dose as soon as you can once you realize you have missed it. If you did not realize that you missed it until the time to take your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not inject extra medication or double up on doses. Also, do not take Relistor more than once in a 24-hour period. If you are concerned about missing a dose of Relistor, talk to your doctor.
